Sales Representative TAVI

The Role:

• Under the supervision of the Business Unit Manager, the Sales Representative will create and develop THV market (Transcatheter Heart Valves) in the given territory. He/ She will have to achieve the sales target accordingly.
• Due to the fact that THV is a new market, the appointee will have to be creative and have a strategic mindset. It is a real opportunity to join a challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Acquire a thorough working knowledge of the products/therapies and procedure, develop an extensive understanding of all their applications
• Establish customer contact and strengthen relationships to create and protect THV business
• Drive penetration of THV products in the given territory,
• Create new business with new customers
• Working closely with the Education team and according to the Sales & Education strategy
• Be responsible for achieving sales target
• Monitor sales activity, create and adopt a Business Plan per account and follow up on Account & Market evolution, plan and prepare forecasts by account, product and therapy for the given territory as well as propose expenses for meetings and/or customer activities including Proctor visits
• Monitor and report Competition activities
• Support Marketing Manager responsible for Market Development within Information Strategy mainly on local events in the given territory
• Execute the marketing and product / launch strategy
• Be responsible for inventory management (ordering, shipment, swap & scrap,).
• Ensure to report all products and procedures complaints to the local Quality & Regulatory departments within 24hours – compliance management

Profile:

• Prior experience in sales in the medical field is needed
• Knowledge of the operating room or cath lab environment is a plus
• Established network in the interventional cardiology/ cardiac surgery market is a strong advantage
• Previous experience in launching a new technology would be a real asset
• Good level of clinical skills
• Sees her/himself as the Customer Manager and act as first access Partner
• Fluent in German, English, French. Italian is a plus, not a must
• Hospital Economic understanding (DRG reimbursement system)
